Writing Psalm 119:1-48
Good morning.. I decided to split up Psalm 119 since it has a lot of verses. As I was writing these 48 verses, 4 different things popped into my mind to focus on. But I decided to just bring out one verse:
“Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways.”
Psalm 119:37
I could use this reminder all day, every day. How easy is it for me to be distracted? I can write about it in this moment, then 20 minutes later find myself scrolling through youtube at the mercy of what pops up on my screen. It is sad how much I allow to distract me from God and from those around me. I am so thankful that Jesus came to this earth. I am thankful that he was tempted just as we are. I am thankful that he was able to be triumphant over sin. So, not only does He understand, but He died for my sins, so that I can be forgiven and thru Him be triumphant. He gives us this, and in it we can be more focused on Him instead of worthless things.
