Writing Psalm 116, 117, and 118
Good morning…
“Open to me the gates of righteousness, that I may enter through them and give thanks to the Lord.
Psalm 118:19-24
This is the gate of the Lord; the righteous shall enter through it.
I thank you that you have answered me and have become my salvation.
The Stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.
This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
Oh, I pray that I can go through the gate of the Lord.
“Jesus said to them, “have you never read in the Scriptures:
Matthew 21:42
“The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone;
this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?”
I a so thankful that we are told who the cornerstone is:
“This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders,
Acts 4:11-12
which has become the cornerstone.
And there is salvation in no one else,
for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Only through Jesus can we have salvation and go through the gate of the Lord.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
