Writing Psalm 114 and 115
Good morning… What do we choose?
“Their idols are silver and gold, the work of human hands.
psalm 115:4-8
They have mouths, but do not speak; eyes, but do not see.
They have ears, but do not hear; noses, but do not smell.
They have hands, but do not feel; feet, but do not walk;
and they do not make a sound in their throat.
Those who make them become like them; so do all who trust in them.”
Do I choose to serve and follow things on this earth? Things that we have created? Or do I serve and rely on God? Do I fear the Lord? Do I trust in the Lord?
“You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord! He is their help and their shield.”
Psalm 115:11
“He will bless those who fear the Lord, both the small and the great.”
Psalm 115:13
Where should I put my faith, my fear, my hope?
