Writing John 14

Good morning, today’s chapter is so powerful. As I write each chapter in John, it reminds me why I like this book so much. In this chapter alone, I have more faith and reassurance for following the Lord.

When I got to verses 21 :

“Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”

I was thinking, ‘He manifests Himself through these words that I am writing, I can see who He and the Father are as I am reading His words.’

Then I reach verse 22:

“Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us and not to the world?”

So, Jesus answered Judas, I love verses 23 and24:

“Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father’s who sent me.”

So it is more than just seeing who they are, it is much deeper.

The thought of Jesus and the Father making a home with me is so calming, peaceful, humbling, and more. I can’t even begin to explain it.

God is so Good!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
