Review after the first book. (2/10/2023)
I cannot believe that I have succeeded in writing the whole book of Matthew. 63 pages in my notebook, 28 chapters. It took me a little over a month since I only write on the weekdays. I am so glad that I decided to do this. It always seemed so big, impossible. I am not sure why. But I can see now that it is very possible. I am still taking one book at a time and not making limits for myself. I will continue as I am going. If I can get a chapter a day, that will be great, but if I can’t then that is fine too.
Those who are watching can see that I started Mark today. I cannot count the times I have read them, but I have to say there are things I am noticing as I write them that I didn’t before. Maybe it is the slowing down, taking time on each word.
I still remember when I thought reading the bible was too big for me. I started out listening to it. I found a dramatic english standard version. (It is word for word, but different voices for the parts). I still recommend this route for those who find it too hard to sit and read the bible in the beginning. It made a huge difference for me.
Thanks for reading my silly post. Oh almost forgot…. A side note… I am on my 3rd pen.. Be prepared and make sure you have a good supply of the pens you want to use.
Have a wonderful day.
Congratulations!!! I still have six chapters to go in John. That doesnโt bother me because Iโm finding quality reading, studying and writing the word. I see that you find this way of studying valuable too!! Thank you for your encouragement. ๐๐๐ป hugs
