Writing Psalms 9-11
Good morning.
“I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.
Psalm 9:1-2
David’s life was not easy. His brothers gave him a hard time. Saul chased him around the lands trying to kill him. Then his son did the same. He lost a son to illness, and more. But David could still count his blessings from the Lord. This is a big lesson to me. My woes are so little in comparison to David’s. I don’t have to flee for my life from my own child. I sit in a comfortable home with food plentiful. I have warm clothes and am able to worship my Lord freely. I am so blessed. So who do I credit my blessings to? In this world, I am taught to credit them to myself or my husband. But who are they really from? My life comes from the Lord and my blessings are from the Lord.
Most of all He sent His Son to this earth so that I can be forgiven of my sins, and be united with Him in Heaven. That is the most important blessing we are given.
God is so Good!!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
