Writing Proverbs 6
Good morning…
proverbs 6:6-11
“Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise.
Without having any chief, officer, or ruler,
she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in harvest.
How long will you lie there, O sluggard?
When will you arise from your sleep?
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest,
and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and want like an armed man.”
O boy… to be more like the ant.. I have to admit I lean more on the sluggard side than the ant side. I am spoiled in my life of comfort. I don’t have to walk for my water, or hunt for my food. I can clean tomorrow instead of today. Many of my tasks can be delayed. There are some that need to be done by a certain time and I do my best to get them done. But I definitely could do better and be more like the ant.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
