Writing Proverbs 26
Good morning…
Whoever meddles in a quarrel not his own
Proverbs 26;17
is like one who takes a passing dog by the ears.
For lack of wood the fire goes out,
proverbs 26;20-22
and where there is no whisperer, quarreling ceases.
As charcoal to hot embers and wood to fire,
so is a quarrelsome man for kindling strife.
The words of a whisperer are like delicious morsels;
they go down into the inner parts of the body.”
It is so easy and tempting to get caught up in some quarrelsome behavior. It is exciting and it is even encouraged by others. We just can’t help ourselves sometimes. What often starts as a innocent comment, can be turned into a big burning wild fire. It is so important for me to keep my tongue under control.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
