Writing Matthew 23 (2/1/2023)
Good morning. This entire chapter is talking about the Scribes and Pharisees. It may seem a bit harsh. But maybe we need harshness sometimes. If you notice is he talking to the crowds and disciples. He is talking to me, he is warning me not to be like them. I do admit, like the Scribes and Pharisees, I get things mixed up and put my needs before God’s. I tend to like things the way I like then, putting the importance on things that are really not important. Looking at others instead of looking at what is in me. I need to put the important things first as verse 23 says, justice, and mercy and faithfulness. I feel like this entire chapter is good for me to remember who I am. To remember how easy it is to stray off the path of righteousness. To remember to get back on the path when I let other things become more important than my relationship with Jesus. I am weak but He is strong.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful Wednesday.

It is hard sometimes. Thank the Lord for His forgiveness!! 💕🙏🏻
