Writing Mark 3 (2/14/2023)
Good morning. In chapter 3 the Pharisees are still watching Jesus with that critical eye, waiting to see what he would do with the man with the withered hand. If you read it you know that he heals him even on the Sabbath. But verse 5 caught my attention, ‘He looked around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart.‘ I don’t ever want Jesus to look at me that way. Such a sad thought. I am so thankful that His blood washes me and keeps me white as snow. That way when He looks at me He doesn’t see my sins, He only sees the cleanness I get from His sacrifice. We can all be made clean through Him, all our sins forgiven so that when He looks at us he sees us white as snow.
