Writing Luke 7 (3/16/2023)
Good morning. As I was writing today, I got to the verses 11-17. This isn’t a miracle that I remember much. Maybe I just pass by it each time I read about it. Maybe it is overshadowed by the things that go on around it.
Here Jesus is just coming through and this group of people who are mourning this widows son, just happen to be carrying out her son who had died. In verse 13:
“And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.”
There are so many times when I have felt like the Lord has said these words to me. Such comforting words to come from Jesus. He has been here, He has seen and felt the pains that we have. I am so thankful that God sent Him here for us.
