Writing Luke 6
Good morning, on this chilly morning. This is a great chapter for me to look at myself and see where I am and where I want to be. I do have to be careful not to be too hard on myself so that I don’t bring myself down. But I do need to be hard enough on myself in order to bring improvement to myself. I love verse 40:
“A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher.”
I remember the words in a song, “Oh to be like thee”. I will keep studying under Jesus and keep working. I don’t know that I will ever be ‘fully trained’ but I will keep working towards that goal.
