Writing Luke 3 (3/10/2023)
Good morning. It is Friday again, some weeks seem to go by so quickly.
Here in chapter three we read more about John the baptizer. He who prepares the way of the Lord. To me, I see John as a very bold person. Guided by the Holy Spirit, he speaks and isn’t worried or ashamed.
I am not a very bold person. I have to work at my boldness. I will say as I get a bit older that sometimes I do slip up a bit on my words, but I don’t think I would say that was bold, especially not spiritually bold. I do think I need to work on my boldness in spiritual matters. Some of that comes from knowledge of the Word of God. I will keep working on it.
