Writing Leviticus 1 and 2
Good morning… That is right 2 chapters again today. These were short chapters so I figured I would write them both today…
The beginning of a new book, Leviticus. I am so thankful that I have been able to write this much of the Bible. I am hoping to keep going and finish my writing in 2027. It still seems so far away, but I have a feeling it will be here before we know it. I started this journey in January of 2023, a little over 2 years. I have been blessed. I am noticing things I didn’t notice before. I am understanding more. I am making connections between Old and New Testaments. I am blessed. I hope that I can continue and finish it all. We will see. Sometimes there is a struggle. Just like the Israelites I need to be reminded to stay focused.
Leviticus begins talking about the burnt offerings and grain offerings. I can’t help but catch the phrase, ‘with a pleasing aroma to the Lord.’ In my mind I can see Him smile as He sees His people doing what He has asked of them. I only hope that I can make Him smile too. Thankfully, I have Jesus, to wash away all of my ugliness (sins). You can have Jesus too!! We are blessed.
