Writing John 8
Good morning. As I was writing this chapter, I was surprised at how long Jesus went back and forth with this group of Jews before they finally got mad enough to try to stone Him. He tried to get them to see what they were doing was wrong, but many could not see or understand. But in verse 31 we do see that some of the Jews did believe Him, but they were still confused. He spent quite a while trying to get them to see.
Just like the Jews, I have a choice to be a child of God or to be a child of the Devil. We all do. In this chapter, Jesus makes it clear that the only way to do this is to believe in Him, that He is the Son of God. And to do the will of the Father.
Will you believe in Him?
