Writing Job 21
Good morning.. As I go through the back and forth between Job and his friends, Job says something that perks my ears.
“One dies in his full vigor, being wholly at ease and secure, his pails full of milk and the marrow of his bones moist. Another dies in bitterness of soul, never having tasted of prosperity. They lie down alike in the dust, and the worms cover them.”
Job 21:23-26
This is a thought I can keep in mind. No matter where I stand in this world, my physical body will have the same end as all of those on this earth. It is my eternal life, my soul, that can end up in a different place.
