Writing Exodus 28
“You shall speak to all the skillful, whom I have filled with a spirit of skill, that they make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him for my priesthood.”
exodus 28:3
Did the Lord fill me with a spirit of skill?
I have a few things that I am can do that not everyone around me can do, for example crocheting. Do I feel the Lord gave this gift to me? Yes. Did I just wake up one day and was able to do it? No. I had to show an effort and learn and practice. Do I succeed at everything that I try to learn and practice? No. I will never be a good basketball player, no matter how much I practice. There are some things the Lord gives to us and some things He gives to someone else.
I think it is important for me to remember that the Lord gave me skills. I should want to use them when given an opportunity. Boy, that is hard sometimes. 🙂
