Writing Exodus 23
Good morning…
“If you meet your enemy’s ox or his donkey going astray, you shall bring it back to him. If you see the donkey of one who hates you lying down under its burden, you shall refrain from leaving him with it; you shall rescue it with him.”
exodus 23:4-5
In the New Testament we see that we are to love our enemies in Matthew 5:44 and in Luke 6:27&35. When I see this verse in Exodus, I see that God was trying to get them to show compassion to their enemies. Helping them when they are in need. This is Love.
I should show love to others, help them in need, whether we like each other or not.
