Writing Ecclesiastes 2
Good morning… O’ Solomon…. As I begin this book I am a bit saddened. I read about all these that we are doing he is just vanity.
“I hated all my toil in which I toil under the sun,
Ecclesiastes 2:18-19
seeing that I must leave it to the man who will come after me,
and who knows whether he will be wise or a fool?
Yet he will be master of all for which I toiled and used my wisdom under the sun.
This also is vanity.”
I guess, I can sit and be sad about all of this or…. I can be thankful of what I am able to do. I can also hope that what I have and make can bring a smile to someone else’s face. Sure most of the things we do here won’t be remembered, and it will crumble as time goes on.. But, if I can just bring a smile to someone’s face in the moment, then it is worth it.
