Writing Colossians 4
Good morning, the end of another small book. It went by so quickly.
In this chapter Paul asks for them to make a special prayer:
“At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of with I am in prison— that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak.”
As Paul sat in prison, he asked that they pray that God will open a door, so that he can share Jesus clearly with others. He did not ask that they pray that he is released, or that he is cared for, or for any physical need. He just wants to share Jesus with others. Wow!! Sadly, I wonder if my mind would be on other things.
Later in this chapter, he also askes that they share the letters he sends with others. He wanted everyone to be well informed. Take the time to read this little book. There is so much good information in it. We also get to see a glimpse of why Jesus is so important for all of us.
Share Jesus with yourself!! Share Jesus with others!!
