Writing 2 Samuel 19
Good morning…
“It was told Joab, “Behold, the king is weeping and mourning for Absalom.” So the victory that day was turned into mourning for all the people, for the people heard that day, “The king is grieving for his son.” And the people told into the city that day as people steal in who were ashamed when they flee in battle.”
2 samuel 19:1-3
I have to touch on mourning one more time.
How we mourn affects all those around us.
As we are going through each part of mourning, it is hard to remember that we are affecting those around us. It is important to mourn, but it is also important to remember those around us. They still need us and we still need them. We never do all of this perfect, I know I don’t. We can just do the best we can, and we can do none of it without God holding us and carrying us through.
