Writing 1 Kings 2
Good morning… I finally felt well enough again to do some writing. This virus season has hit me this month. I guess it is catching up since I have not had a virus since like 2022.
“Then David slept with his fathers and was buried in the city of David. And the time that David reigned over Israel was forty years. He reigned seven years in Hebron and thirty-three years in Jerusalem So Solomon sat on the throne of David his father, and his kingdom was firmly established.”
1 kings 2:10-12
Here we see the end of David’s era. I can learn so much from David. I can see the things he did that were good and I can see the things he did that weren’t so good. In the end, David loved God. That is probably the most important lesson for me. What ever I do, I need to love God first.
