Finished the book of Luke
I am so happy to finish the book of Luke. I started out in the first chapters feeling a bit like each chapter was long and kind of dragging on. I did notice that there were more details in Luke that were not in Matthew or Mark. But as the chapters went I noticed I didn’t feel that way; I was looking forward to each chapter. As I reached the end, finishing the last sentence of the last chapter, I felt like I was finishing a good book. (That is funny because that is exactly what it was.) It was so satisfying. I wasn’t even suppose to write today but it was calling me, I am so glad I followed instead of fighting it.
I started writing the bible the first week January and here I am ending the first week in April with 3 of the books finished. Wow!! I never would have believed it.
I am so thankful that I have stuck with this. I am truly felling the Lord more now than when I had started. Like a plant who had lost her leaves, I feel a few buds growing along my bear limbs. I pray I continue to grow.
