“Now these are the rules that you shall set before them.”
exodus 21:1
I need rules.
I need rules to keep me straight, to stay balanced, to stay focused. I need consequences to breaking the rules, to make me responsible for the actions that I may make during an emotional event. We need rules in order to live peaceably.
These people were blessed to have God make these rules for them.
I enjoy reading them and like to compare them to our rules/laws of today.
