Writing Exodus 2

Good Afternoon…

“One day, when Moses had grown up, he went out to his people and looked on their burdens, and he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his people. He looked this way and that, and seeing no one , he struck down the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.”

exodus 2:11-12

“When he went out the next day, behold, two Hebrews were struggling together. And he said to the man in the wrong, “Why do you strike your companion?”

exodus 2:13

“The shepherds came and drove them away, but Moses stood up and saved them, and watered their flock.”

exodus 2:17

As I was reading through this chapter, I began to see Moses’ character. What was Moses really like? In these 3 situations, Moses seen that people were not being treated the way he thought they should have been treated. So he took action to help those he thought needed it. I see that Moses cared for others, he had a heart, and he wanted to help.

I am thankful that we get insight of what people were like. These aren’t just stories, these are real people.

Try to read a few verses today!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day today!!
