Writing Exodus 1
Good morning… The start of a new book, Exodus. Genesis took a little longer than planned because there were several weeks I that I only did 4 chapters instead of 5. Our schedule keeps changing with Gerald’s work and it throws me for a loop. But I am hanging in there and have successfully written, the New Testament, the Books of Poetry, and now Genesis. If I can do it, you can too. My books are messy with things marked out and messed up, but I knew it would not be perfect. I allowed myself, the messiness of my brain to leak through on to my pages. I am still enjoying writing, it definitely makes me stop and take note of things instead of just reading over it.
Now onto today’s reading Exodus 1:
“Then Pharaoh commanded all his people, “Every son that is born to the Hebrews you shall cast into the Nile, but you shall let every daughter live.”
Exodus 1:22
I am always saddened by the cruelty of man. I don’t know how his people felt about the order that he gave but we do see how the midwives felt when they were given the command.
“But the midwives feared God and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but let the male children live.”
exodus 117
It is important for me to remember that listening to God is better than listening to everything else in this world. How do I know what He is saying? Reading His words.
Try to read a few verses today!!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day today!!
