Writing Genesis 35

Good evening..

“Then Esau took his wives, his sons, his daughters, and all the members of his household, his livestock, all his beasts, and all his property that he had acquired in the land of Canaan. He went into a land away from his brother Jacob. For their possessions were too great for them to dwell together. The land of their sojournings could not support them because of their livestock. So Esau settled in the hill country of Seir. (Esau is Edom.)”

Genesis 36:6-8

These verses make me smile. If we look back a few chapters, we can see the pain and suffering in Esau’s words after loosing the blessings of his father. We look at him now, and he has become quite the man and has built a kingdom of his own. It also appears that he and his brother lived in peace despite the past. This can give me hope, that no matter how things may seem today, they can always turn themselves around. And if not in this world, we can always trust in God and have everlasting life after death.

God is so Good!!

Try to read a few verses today!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day today!!
