Writing Colossians 3
Good morning, this is one of those chapters that I would love to write out the entire chapter for you. In chapters like this, I feel Paul is speaking to me personally. This is one of the chapters that I must learn to live by, he tells me how not to be. But most of all he tells me how I can be that is pleasing to the Lord.
“Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.”
I still need to get rid of the things that are earthly:
“Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.”
“But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth.”
My hope is that as I grow into a new person, that I will take on more of the heavenly traits and that the earthly traits will disappear and not be a burden any longer. It is something I have to work on daily.
God is so Good!!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!

Still working. Sigh. Sometimes itβs hard. Thank you for the reminders πππ»
