Writing Galatians 6
Good morning, today I write the last chapter of Galatians. It is a small book in comparison to the others I have done so far. A letter Paul felt the need to write to those in Galatia who were lost in the false teachings they were receiving from others. One thing Paul said earlier in this book keeps coming into my mind, Chapter 4 verse 19-20, “My little children, for whom I am gain in the anguish of childbirth until Christ is formed in you! I wish I could be present with you now and change my tone, for I am am perplexed about you.” Paul was in anguish for them because their souls were not where in jeopardy. It is so hard to know that those who once knew the Lord are led astray. The pain I have felt for another is anguish. I have to trust in the Lord and keep following the Lord and hope that others will know and follow Him too.
In the last chapter Paul offers a few more tips and suggestions to keep them moving forward to eternal life. I like to be remined of verse 9 and 10, “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.” I need to keep trying to do good.
God is so Good!!
I sure hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
