Writing 2 Corinthians 8
Good morning, in this chapter Paul continues to mention others and their good that they are doing. The fellow Christians and Titus were spoken of very highly. Their love for others and doing the work of the Lord. A work that they desired to do.
Maybe this goes back to figuring out what our strengths, talents, are and focusing on them for the Lord. Pushing through the things that are more difficult for us, but focusing on the things that are more natural for us. Then we can have a desire to do His will.
Sometimes it is hard to find out what I am good at, sometimes fear, anxiety, comfort, and habit hold me back. I have found spending more time reading His word has help me to see where I need a bit more work. But it also helps me see the love that the Lord has for me just as I am. This gives me strength to keep on moving forward, hopefully growing closer to Him as I go.
Someday will Paul be able to speak highly of me too? I will just hope for a smile on the Lord’s face, letting me know I made it 🙂
