Writing 2 Corinthians 9
Good morning, a chapter of giving. It is good for me to look at these verses every now and then and see where my heart is on these matters. The truth is I have been blessed spiritually and physically. I have more than I need in both categories. I have read continually about sharing spiritually, spreading the Word of God, sharing that He gave His Son for us all. There are also verses throughout that talk about sharing physically, our time, our moneys, our food and water, most of all love (that can be spiritual and physical).
“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.“
I need to have the desire to give. It is a heart thing. It goes against what this world teaches us, so some of us, like me have to learn to be more giving. Some giving is easier than other giving. I need to be better at all giving, after all, look at what I was given:
“Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!”
Nothing compares to the gift we were given. He gives all to us, what will I do with it!!
