Writing Song of Solomon 4
Good morning…
“Behold, you are beautiful, my love, behold you are beautiful! Your eyes are doves behind your veil. Your hair is like a flock of goats leaping down the slopes of Gilead. Your teeth are like a flock of shorn ewes that have come up from the washing, all of which bear twins, and not one among them has lost its young.”
song of solomon 4:1-2
I know this is meant to show her beauty, but I have told Gerald a few times don’t compare me to goats. But, if I slow down a little bit, and actually visualize what Solomon is saying, then I can see the beauty. It is a beautiful sight to see a flock of goats running down a hillside.
So I need to remember to look a little deeper in the reading when things appear a bit strange and I might see a better picture.
