Writing Romans 5
Good morning. Today I find so much hope in the chapter. As I was writing through chapter 5, I seen how just one man’s (Adam’s) action brought sin into the world and with sin came death. But I also seen that another Man’s (Jesus’) action brings about hope and eternal life.
“For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous.”
The other thing that caught my attention is the number of times the ‘free gift’ was mentioned. Five times in the one paragraph. The ‘free gift’ might be free for us but it came at the cost of a life, Jesus’ life, for all of us. So that:
“so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Let us all read the Scriptures to find the path to eternal life through Jesus Christ.
