Writing Psalm 81, 82, and 83
Good morning…
“Sing aloud to God our strength; shout for joy to the God of Jacob!”
Psalm 81:1
“Arise, O God, judge the earth; for you shall inherit all the nations!”
Psalm 82:8
“O God, do not keep silence; do not hold your peace or be still, O God!”
Psalm 83:1
There is such a reliance on God in the Psalms. A constant yearning for God to be close to the writers. A constant line of communication, even when they thought God was silent. I know that I need to reach out to God in all my moments, whether in joy or in despair. The book of Psalms is a great example of this. The writers seem to make God part of all of their moments. Maybe I can do better.
