Writing Psalm 66 and 67
Good morning..
“Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for my soul.”
Psalm 66:16
Who was the writer of Psalm 66? I am not sure. But this writer shared a desire that David also had. He wanted the world to know what God had done for them. I tend to be a bit more silent of the things God did for me. I love to share the Bible, the actual Words of God, but I don’t share as much about how my heart was pricked or comforted. Hopefully, in the future I can find a way to share my heart so that I can bring more honor to God, without bringing dishonor to anyone else.
I can say, that He carried me through the difficult times in my life. In my youth, as I laid under my bed with a flashlight reading the Bible. In raising our children, through the many hours of Bible study and guidance of the older women in my life. In the loss of our son, through tears as I prayed, through the words of David, and through those around us, keeping me going as I helped care for my mother. In the loss of my mother, in the added time we were given with her.
There are so many times I have felt God in my life, and as I look back at my life, I can see Him there too. God is so Good!! I hope you can feel Him too!!
