Writing Psalm 40

Good morning…

I like the way this Psalm begins…

“I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry.
He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog,
and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.”

Psalm 40:1-2

No matter how low I get on this earth, I can always rely on the Lord setting my feet upon a rock. So often, I visualize the Lord holding out His hand to me so that I can be picked back up again. Here he not only picks up David, but He gives him a solid place to help him not only stand, but to continue and walk. This is what He gives His children. A solid rock on which we can stand and continue to follow Him.

God is so Good!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
