Writing Psalm 22
Good morning..
“For kingship belongs to the Lord, and he rules over the nations.”
Psalm 22:28
As I wrote this verse I was reminded of the time in 1 Samuel 8:10-22, when the people were warned against having a king reigning over them. They were told of the hardships that they would endure. David was one of these kings.
I love that David found the Lord to be his king.
Let me always remember that no matter what governing people are here, I know that God is my king. Let me only bow down to Him.
