Writing Mark 13 (3/1/2023)
Good morning. As I was writing this chapter I tried to stay extra focuses on each sentence. There is so much debate over this conversation with the disciples and it will go on till the end of times. As I finished writing it, I was thinking about my need to relate it to me today. I don’t have a good reason to go through debates about what I don’t know or what I might think I know. I can only look at what I do know. I know, I need to keep my soul ready to see the Lord my God. I need to rely on Jesus’ sacrifice to make it possible for me to see God in heaven. So, when these verses say, “Stay awake”, I know I need to keep my soul awake and don’t let it fall asleep in this world.
