Writing Luke 15 (3/28/2023)
Good morning, chapter 15 of Luke, could be called the lost chapter. Or maybe the found chapter. So many times, we hear about what was found, or even the other son who was a bit upset after his bother returned. But I think I want to talk about the ‘man’ who lost his sheep, or the ‘woman’ who lost her coin, or the ‘father’ who lost his son.
All three of them lost something. All three of them were looking for what they lost. Two of them stopped what they were doing and went looking for what they lost. The father appeared to be looking afar waiting for his son to appear in the distance. When they found what they had lost, they all rejoiced and celebrated.
So many lessons in this chapter. Today I would like to focus on God the Father in heaven. The One who looks for me when I am lost. The One who will rejoice as I come back to Him. The One who will clothe me in white robe. God is so Good.
He loves you too and will do the same for you.
