Writing Luke 12 (3/23/2023)
Good morning. I cannot believe how many places I can measure myself in this chapter. So many lessons in this chapter, who to fear, putting up treasure, worrying, be ready, and more…. Where do I go??? How about worrying???
Do not be anxious…. I found it interesting that he talks about worrying over food and clothing. I don’t find myself worrying about these things. If I were, then I might justify myself because at least it was something that really mattered. But here it shows that even it doesn’t matter cause the Lord will clothe me. I don’t even want to admit the petty things that make me anxious. It is a struggle I have always had and work on it continually asking forgiveness. ‘Sorry, Lord’…
A verse that caught my eye:
“Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
Wow!!!! God the Father wants to give me the kingdom!! As our preacher would say, ‘That is an amazing thought’.
So, Jennifer, quit worrying about these petty things, God the Father loves you!!!! He will take care of it all!!!!
