Writing Judges 20
Good morning….
“And the people of Israel inquired of the Lord (for the ark of the covenant of God was there in those days, and Phinehas the son of Eleazar, son of Aaron, ministered before it in those days), saying, “Shall we go out once more to battle against our brothers, the people of Benjamin, or shall we cease?” And the Lord said, “Go up, for tomorrow I will give them into your hand.”
judges 20:27-28
As the Israelites go against their brothers, the Benjaminites, they were not successful on two attempts. But they hung in there and continued to call on the Lord for advice. Even after they didn’t get the results that they wanted the first 2 times. In the end, they were successful, but it shows that it was God who won the battle and was in control.
I don’t always get the answers or the results from my prayers. I just have to have faith and know that God is in control.
