Writing Joshua 13 and 14
Good morning…
“And now, behold, the Lord has kept me alive, just as he said, these forty-five years since he time that the Lord spoke this word to Moses, while Israel walked in the wilderness. And now, behold, I am this day eighty-five years old.. I am still as strong today as I was in the day that Moses sent me; my strength now is as my strength was then, for war and for going and coming. “
joshua 14:10-11
There are so many little miracles that I look over as I read the Bible. This little detail is another one that I don’t remember. Caleb, like Moses, didn’t loose his strength as he aged through the wilderness. The Lord did not allow his body to age. At 85 he was still strong enough to go fight the Anakim, giants compared to regular sized men. What a blessing Caleb received to be able to return to the land that he spied out and to receive it as an inheritance.
God is so Good…
