Writing John 1
Good morning. The start of a new book in the bible. John. I have always felt like John was my favorite out of the first four books of the New Testament. I am curious to see if I still feel the same after I finish writing it or if another has moved in it’s place. All are good, all show different perspectives, all are needed to get the full picture.
Who is Jesus? If you have any question of who He is, this is a good chapter to start with. I like how John the Baptist sees Jesus and says, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” John wanted his followers to know, “This is the he of whom I said, ‘After me comes a man who ranks before me, because he was before me.'” There was no doubt who Jesus was and is.
Jesus is still the One who takes away the sins of the world. Follow Him!!
