Writing Job 7
Good morning. The title my bible gives this chapter is ‘My life has no hope’. Poor Job was truly in despair.
“When I lie down I say, ‘When shall I arise?’
Job 7:4-5
But the night is long,
and I am full of tossing till the dawn.
My flesh is clothed with worms and dirt;
my skin hardens, then breaks out afresh.
His entire life was transformed in such a short time. It would only be natural to loose hope in this world. His friends didn’t help any with the situation. No wonder he says, ‘Leave me alone, for my days are a breath’ in verse 16. Even though they chose to be with him in physical sense, their judgements prohibited them to be with him spiritually. Job had to continue to work out his grief on his own. Stay tuned to see how it works out…..
