Writing Job 42

Good morning, the final chapter in Job. I do like how this book ends. A true happy ending. It is even a happy ending for Job’s three friends.

“Now therefore take seven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job and offer up a burnt offering for yourselves. And my servant Job shall pray for you, for I will accept his prayer not to deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.” So Elephaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did what the Lord had told them, and the Lord accepted Job’s prayer.”

Job 42:8-9

These verses made me think about my folly. It made me think about my hope that Jesus will go to the Father and pray for me so that I will not be dealt with according to my folly. I am so thankful that my sins will be washed away and that He will remember them no more.

God is so Good!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
