Writing Job 40
Good morning.
Job decided what is best:
“Behold, I am of small account’ what shall I answer you: I lay my hand on my mouth. I have spoken once, and I will not answer; twice, but I will proceed no further.”
Job 40:4-5
How often have I been silenced with God’s words? How often have I been silenced during a prayer, as my words go out of my mouth? Sadly, not enough. I do think it is natural for me to defend myself to others and sadly even to God. Maybe next time I can put my had over my mouth. Maybe next time I can let go and let God. Then it would be so much easier.
