Writing Genesis 6
Good morning… In this chapter we read about the instruction that God gave to Noah to build an ark. But it wasn’t the ark that caught my attention the most, it was man’s heart. We find two types of people in this chapter.
“The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”
genesis 6:5
“But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.”
genesis 6:8
“Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God.”
Genesis 6:9
We find those who didn’t follow God and wickedness was in their heart, and we find Noah who was blameless in his generation. He walked with God. He looked to God and the others looked to the world.
Each one of us has a choice. I have a choice where will my heart be. Will we follow the world or will we look to God.
