Writing Genesis 31:1-32

Good afternoon…

“Then the Lord said to Jacob, “Return to the land of your fathers and to your kindred, and I will be with you.”

genesis 31:3

Jacob had a choice to listen to God or to just go about his own business. He could have gone another direction, or he could have stayed where he was, but those decisions would have left him alone and without God at his side. What does he decide to do?

“So Jacob arose and set his sons and his wives on camels. He drove away all his livestock, all his property that he had gained, the livestock in his possession that he had acquired in Paddan-aram, to go to the land of Canaan to his father Isaac.”

genesis 31:17-18

He does what God instructs him to do.

As he journeys, his father-in-law follows, but God stops and talks to Laban in a dream. So, just as God had promised, he was there defending Jacob.

God is so Good!!

I need to remember as I follow the Lord, He will be there with me. I may not see Him in obvious places, but He is there.

Try to read a few verses today!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day today!!
