Writing Genesis 19
Good afternoon…
“But before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both young and old, all the people to the last man, surrounded the house. And they called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us, that we may know them””
genesis 19:4-5
In the chapter before we seen Abraham pleading:
“Suppose ten are found there.”
genesis 18:32
The Lord said that He would spare the city if there were 10 righteous men were found in the city. Sadly there were not even 10 righteous men. It is a sad day when a city could be so corrupt that none can see God and His salvation.
We see a lot of corruption. As long as this earth is here we will see corruption. But we can also be a light that beams. We can be the goodness that shines when there is none left around us. Let us let Jesus’ light shine through us!!
