Writing Exodus 6
Good evening…
“On the day when the Lord spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt, the Lord said to Moses, “I am the Lord; tell Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say to you.” But Moses said to the Lord, “Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips. How will Pharaoh listen to me?”
exodus 6:28-30
At this time, Moses had already spoken to Pharaoh and his reaction was to punish the people with more work and harsher punishments. And the people have lost faith in Moses because of the treatment they are receiving from the Egyptians. I feel like Moses is also loosing faith in himself since no one is listening to him.
I have to admit, if I were put in his situation, I would have no faith in myself to do what God has asked him to do. It is so important to know that if God is with us, we can do anything. I can find the courage, I can get past the fears, I can find faith in myself because God is with me. Now let me say that 100 times. 🙂
